Branxton Church Branxton Church Branxton Church Branxton Church Branxton Church

Built in the 12th Century, tradition has it that after the Battle of Flodden (1513), St Pauls was used as a temporary mortuary for James IV’s body and a burial ground for the English dead. The oldest part is the chancel arch (12th Century). Most of the church was rebuilt in 1849.
